Tall Leather Weave Horse Hair Pottery

This horse hair pottery was created with a weave design. The weave has leather horizontal lines and horse tail hair vertical lines. It is finished off with a small silver ring bead and a piece of turquoise that I have been saving for years for the perfect accent. 
I acquired the turquoise from a Native American woman that I befriended at a Pow wow many years ago. There were 19 siblings in her family and they all created jewelry from the turquoise that her uncle brought them. He would buy out whole mines at a time. I just loved her stories and knew one day the right piece would be adorned by this bead.
